Welcome! I am a Clinical Psychologist who has been in practice since my graduation in 1993 from the Derner Institute at Adelphi University (NY). After completing a two-year internship at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, MA, I moved down to DC to complete a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at Georgetown University’s Counseling and Psychiatric Service. I have also received a certificate in Group Psychotherapy from the Washington School of Psychiatry, and regularly attend continuing education training and professional conferences.

In my practice, I provide both individual and group psychotherapy to a range of individuals (from late adolescence onward) presenting with a wide variety of concerns. I am active as a teacher and supervisor, working with other clinicians in a variety of training institute settings here in the metropolitan DC area. For a number of years, I also worked at the George Washington University Counseling Center as the Training Director for their APA-approved internship program, and was previously a Staff Psychologist at Georgetown University’s Counseling and Psychiatric Service.

Further details about my training and other professional activities can be found on the Credentials tab.
